The Motherhood is a custom WordPress project built with a modern, block-first approach using the Gutenberg editor. From a development perspective, the focus was on creating a flexible, scalable content system that empowers non-technical users to manage and evolve the site without relying on page builders or rigid templates.
The site was developed using custom Gutenberg blocks powered by React, allowing for reusable, modular components tailored to the brand’s content needs. Emphasis was placed on performance and clean architecture—leveraging native WordPress functionality, minimizing third party dependencies, and ensuring fast load times across devices.
A structured design system was implemented through theme.json and custom block styling, enabling consistent spacing, typography, and color usage throughout the site. The result is a maintainable, future-proof platform that balances editorial flexibility with a polished, cohesive user experience.
